By attending Sunbury Shores Music Festival, all guests agree to the following rules and policies. These guidelines are in place to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful experience for all attendees.

General Admission

• This is a family-friendly event. All ages are welcome.
• All attendees must have a valid ticket or wristband for entry.
• Wristbands must be worn at all times within the festival grounds.
• No re-entry will be permitted. Once attendees leave the festival grounds, they will not be allowed back in unless prior approval is granted by festival staff.
• Festival hours will run until approximately midnight each night.

CHILDREN'S ADMISSION POLICY

• As a family-friendly event, we want to make it easier for families to attend and enjoy the festival together.

Children ages 13 and under receive free admission when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.

Guests aged 14 and older require a regular General Admission ticket.

 

We believe great music and community events should be accessible to families, and we’re excited to welcome festival-goers of all ages for an unforgettable weekend.

Alcohol Policy

• Alcohol will be available for purchase within the festival grounds.
• Valid government-issued ID is required for alcohol purchase and consumption.
• Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
• Alcohol purchased within the festival grounds must not be taken outside of the gated event area.
• Anyone found supplying alcohol to minors will be removed from the festival.

Security & Bag Checks

• Security personnel will be present on-site at all times.
• All bags are subject to search upon entry.
• Refusal to comply with security checks may result in denied entry or removal from the festival.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted within the festival grounds:

• Outside alcohol
• Illegal substances
• Weapons of any kind
• Fireworks or explosives
• Glass containers
• Coolers of any size
• Drones
• Any item deemed unsafe or inappropriate by festival staff or security

Camping Guidelines

• Camping is not included with festival tickets and must be booked separately through the Sunbury Oromocto Park & Campground website.
• All campground rules and policies must be followed by overnight guests.
• Festival tenting sites are basic and include space for a tent only (no fire pits, no picnic tables, no electricity).
• Pets are permitted within the campground but are not allowed inside the festival event space.

• Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas.
• Please respect shared spaces and dispose of waste properly.

Food, Beverage & Vendors

• Food, alcohol, and festival merchandise will be available for purchase on-site.
• No outside food is allowed on festival grounds.
• Additional vendors may be present throughout the event.

• The festival will take place rain or shine.
• Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for weather conditions.
• In the event of severe or unsafe weather, updates will be communicated on-site and through official channels.

• No refunds or exchanges will be issued.
• This applies to all festival-related purchases.
• The event will proceed rain or shine.

Code of Conduct

• All attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward others, including guests, staff, volunteers, and performers.
• Harassment, discrimination, aggressive behavior, or violence will not be tolerated.
• Any individual engaging in unsafe or disruptive behavior may be removed from the festival without refund.

Liability & Assumption of Risk

• By attending Sunbury Shores Music Festival, all attendees assume full responsibility for any risk of personal injury, illness, damage, or loss that may occur during the event.
• Sunbury Shores Music Festival, Sunbury Oromocto Park & Campground, RBG Entertainment, and all affiliated staff, partners, and vendors are not responsible for:
– Lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
– Personal injury or accidents
– Damage to vehicles or personal belongings
– Incidents between attendees, including altercations or disputes

• Attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending a live outdoor event, including but not limited to weather conditions, crowd-related incidents, and uneven terrain.

• By entering the festival grounds, attendees agree to release and hold harmless Sunbury Shores Music Festival, its organizers, partners, and property owners from any and all liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
